- **What are swevens?** Apparently, it's the most recent single word for a prophetic dream in English, and fell out of use long enough ago to be called "archaic" by wikipedia. A sweven is a dream/vision that people believed in. I'd say it was superstitious BS if I hadn't experienced several myself, so consider me a convinced skeptic trying to help figure out *how* swevens exist by collecting anecdotes and evidence. **What's this for?** Had a dream that predicted the future and came true in some way?
